“The  collaboration with Vintage-VDB and myself brings forth the marriage of vintage  ultra high grade mechanical movements rebuilt by me with impeccable hand made German case engineering by Stephan and VDB.

Searching the world for NOS and rare vintage Rolex, Piaget, Vacheron Constantin, Patek Philippe, etc. movements in conditions I can restore and tune to perfection is not an easy or inexpensive task. Since the age of 8 I’ve been working on these movements that were built at a time in history that making something last 6 lifetimes was normal. My love for vintage movements is because they are built like tanks! That’s certainly not the case in today’s Watchmaking. These beautiful vintage movements can be tweaked to run beyond COSC if time and Watchmaking knowledge is applied to exemplary timepieces.

Utilizing the most cutting edge modern day diagnostic and timing machines along with unique ancient Master Watchmaker tools I carefully finish one at a time. I personally place them in a VDB hand made German work of art  to bring the  Vintage-VDB/Spitz timepiece to life.”

I’ve spent years on a Watchmakers lathe and Jacot tool doing extensive restorations on Patek’s and manufacturing parts not available. It’s a labor of love that goes into each personal piece I tweak.”

“Each limited piece will have it’s own case and dial design along with an exhibition back to view a rare vintage Rolex movement (as seen here) or a Patek Philippe and beyond. These rare movements are extremely hard to acquire.  All movements are rebuilt by myself. Each movement is completely stripped down to the plates, timed, parts made by hand, serviced, hand oiled, jewels adjusted and bring each vintage movement to it’s highest level of timekeeping. These small things are unique to my personal touch and the collaboration with VDB.”
